It feels like we blinked and suddenly we’re into April! At Create, we always take a moment to reflect at the end of each quarter, it’s how we stay focused, aligned, and excited for what’s next.
Even though it sometimes feels like we’re just keeping our heads above water during the spring hustle, careful planning and teamwork have kept us on track, and moving toward our goals. Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at Q1 2026 – what kept us busy, what we accomplished, and some of the highlights that made us stop, smile, and feel proud.
Life Lately at Create
Spring is always a whirlwind for our team, and this year was no exception. We were busy creating, coordinating, filming, and executing campaigns – both for our clients and for our own initiatives.
New Branding for a Growing Client
We loved collaborating on a fresh logo for a client expanding their business. Helping them define their voice, visuals, and messaging so they can connect better with their audience was a highlight for the team.
Royal Manitoba Winter Fair
This signature Brandon event is always a sprint. Content creation, public relations, and on-the-ground support. Our 4th year supporting the Fair was just as exciting as ever, and we’re proud to play a role behind the scenes.
Brandon Home & Leisure Show
Another big event for our community! From planning and promotion to vendor support and speaker series setup, we loved contributing to this growing event.
Spring Parade of Homes
Always a busy time of year, and we were thrilled to help a client showcase their beautiful build with creative campaigns and content.
Women of Westman Conference
Ashleigh spoke at a breakout session on personal branding and digital storytelling, while our team helped connect with so many incredible women in the community. And yes, the headshots we offered were a huge highlight – so rewarding to see everyone leave with confidence and a great new photo.

Expanding the Team
We welcomed Max, a talented videographer, to Create! Max’s creative energy is already making a huge difference for both our team and our clients, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll create together this year.
Personal Adventures Fuel Creativity
We believe stepping away from work and experiencing new things keeps our creativity sharp. Ashleigh travelled to the Dominican Republic for a wedding this winter, and spent some time on the beach, Tara went on a family ski trip to Fernie creating core memories, and Brooke spent four weeks exploring Japan (a dream trip!). Travel and personal time help us come back inspired, invigorated, and ready to create for our clients.
Even in the midst of a stacked event schedule, we’ve managed to continue forward – keeping our heads above water while still making time to celebrate wins, learn from challenges, and support each other through a busy season.
Looking Ahead
One of the things we’re most excited about this year is our team retreat – a mix of learning and development, and team building. We’re looking forward to stepping away from the daily hustle, connecting with each other, and coming back refreshed, and filled with creativity.
Q1 reminded us that staying organized, planning ahead, and making space for reflection, both personally and professionally, keeps us aligned, energized, and ready for whatever comes next.
